Blogging Break

I am spending time with family this week and am taking time away from the blog for the rest of the week. I hope that you will take a moment to enjoy a few popular posts from the recent past:

Easter Break

As you may have noticed, I had a bit of an unannounced Easter break here on the blog. I should be back to regular posts these days.

On a fun note, Nicole and I stopped by the Kansas City Center for Urban Agriculture on Saturday and picked up a bunch of tomato plants for transplant. I took out a shrub and now have the beginnings of a tomato garden in our back yard landscaping. I have some more to plant and a few to take down to my parents.

Nothing is delicious like fresh tomatoes from the vine.

Vacation = Out of the Cloud

I have a habit of being connected online which at times borders on an addiction. I connect via my iPhone, desktop computer at church and laptop at home or on the road.

Not on vacation. Nicole and I are headed to Estes Park, Colorado tomorrow. From May 8 to May 19, I will not:

  • Boot up my laptop.
  • Use my iPhone in any way other than as a phone.
  • Check my email – @gmail.com or @cor.org

Goodbye Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, Google Reader, Remember the Milk, Google Docs, Spark People. For a few days, at least…

I will have a blog post pre-scheduled here for May 18 and I’ll come back online May 19.

Until then, enjoy of the top posts from the last 30 days:
